Perhaps the first opera ever written in St Petersburg, “Doctor Dilligaff’s Baboon” will have its world premiere in a concert performance at the Palladium Side Door Cabaret, in St Petersburg on August 29, 2016, at 7pm. Admission is free. It’s The Year of the Monkey, so it can only be good karma to come see the first performance ever of this absurdist one-act opera.
